About Holy Cross
Holy Cross Lutheran Church is a congregation of the Evangelical Lutheran Church in America (ELCA) in the Indiana-Kentucky synod. Holy Cross is nestled in a small, friendly, and prosperous Ohio river-town in southern Indiana. This river-town, Rockport, first became home to this Lutheran Church in 1870 and before that in another neighboring river-town and Christian community (Grandview, IN) a Lutheran Church was founded in 1853. Eventually these two church communities merged to form the Holy Cross Lutheran Church as we know it today (see pictures below).
You are likely to find us at local community functions like the Apple Fest, Grandview Fall Festival, Spencer County Fair, and other events and happenings around the county. Stop and chat with us sometime, and remember, you are always welcome to attend our church services!
